Rosalia Vila is an Spanish flamenco singer and pop artist. Her work has been in the margins of popular and traditional music since her teens she has also delved into different genres such as Hip-Hop Soul and Trap. Pepe Haichuela, a flamenco guitar and well-known musician, has described the voice of this young artist as sharp with sweetness but with bite. El Mal Querer was her big commercial and critical hit in 2018. After Los Angeles garnered her attention and a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist, it topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums and she received an Grammy. La Fama was released by the Weeknd in 2021. Motomami is her third studio album. She worked with numerous performers and musicians including Cory Henry. The album was released in 2022 as a result of the Saturday Night Live appearance by Rosalia, the vocalist of Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the first Spanish singer to perform solo on the program. Motomami Rosala as well as winning three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award two times, was the first female to be awarded both.
