Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He's made major inroads globally to Latin pop. Una Lady Como Tu, his hit from 2016, received the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Best Song. His debut album was a long-player ADN to the local Sony distributor in Medellin La Industria Inc. This album peaked at eight in the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca was a Top Five hit for Ozuna and him the year after. In the year 2020, he worked with Noriel for Mala Influencia and then released her debut album Dopamina the next year. Later in 2021 he performed an duet with TINI's smash streaming single Maldita Foto. An album release in 2023 with the massively popular La Bachata. Turizo is a renowned musician, born in a musical home. His parents and brothers were both musicians. According to him, musicality was an integral part of his life. When he was young, he taught to play the piano, guitar and the ukulele. Though his original career plan was that of an animal veterinarian, his brother Julian convinced him to try studying singing with the Cuban. The lessons revolutionized his entire life.
