Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew growing up in Mexico with a family that was passionate about music. When she was a kid, she listened to a lot of classical music and traditional boleros. Also, she listened to the traditional romance ballads as well as ranchero. Ana enjoys tangos operas and other dramatic performances. Ana started learning how to play the piano and sing at an early age together with her mom. The formal vocal training when she reached the age of 16 old with the renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. Her musical education continued at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterwards in the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. The singer performed throughout Guadalajara, Mexico City and different cities when she was a young musician and student. After moving in the United States, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. After 2002 she relocated to Southern California. She performs solo Latin American music for private events and also as part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. The passion and love she has for music, art, and performing keeps her involved with many local organizations as a teacher and performer. Ana was also previously a member of Community Chorus of Redlands as well as members of the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana is a fan of classic Latin American songs and hopes that she can inspire others to do the same.
